College Street Capital is a non-profit organization established and operated by ambitious and high-achieving students at the College of Holy Cross, Worcester, MA, with career aspirations in the financial services industry.
CSC aims to provide opportunities for real-world experience in securities analysis and portfolio management to motivated students seeking practical and experiential knowledge of the financial industry in large.
Why They Were Funded
Why we chose CSC: CSC was a dream of a Holy Cross student group in 2023 and SCF helped them make their dream a reality by funding half of the starting capital they needed to establish their non-profit. They had determination and an entrepreneurial mindset that made us believe that their efforts would be successful, and they were.
The Potential: College Street Capital created a need that was not fulfilled by their college, Holy Cross. The organization allows these enterprising students to obtain valuable and needed industry experience that positions them to obtain competitive financial internships in industry.
Grants Made: SCF offered a match for half of the initial operating capital needed to establish the company. CSC was successful in matching SCF funds and founded the company.
Consulting Client: No. SCF is no longer active with CSC.
